You are about to
take the first steps towards accepting credit cards.
Here are step-by-step directions to guide you:
1. Start by filling out the
Merchant account application.
You need the latest
version (version 8) of adobe acrobat to read the file correctly.
2. Fill out the application, and fax it back to: 1-415-462-5692
The application is in .PDF format so if you can not
read it,
you will need to
install Adobe Reader first. Most people have it.
3. The banks will need to conduct a credit check before they can
approve you,
so you will also need to fax back to us the following:
a.) A copy of your drivers license
b.) Your business license, or letter of
incorporation
c.) A copy of a voided check
4. Usually we can get an approval within 1 business day
if you have good credit.
Authorize.net Setups:
If you want to use your merchant account to process over the internet,
you will need to connect it to a payment gateway.
HostSite can setup the merchant account into the Authorize.net payment gateway.
As a token of our appreciation for your business, we will give you the
Authorize.net
gateway at our cost. You only have to pay the $49 setup fee which covers our
cost.
You will then be billed by Authorize.net, $10 per month, and $0.05 per
transaction
to keep the account open there.
