There are two possible ways you can have your SSL
setup. You can either setup the SSL
using your own domain name, or you can setup the SSL
using our domain name.
Both options will provide the exact same level of
SSL encryption protection.
We'll explain the difference between the two
options.
If you choose to setup the SSL using your own domain
name, so it will look something like:
https://your-own-site-name.com
(where your-own-site-name.com is replaced with your
actual hosting domain name)
However, you will be required to generate a CSR, and
then submit that CSR to an authority such as
GeoTrust or Thawte, that can issue you a SSL
certificates based on the CSR. This option
means that you will have to buy a SSL certificate
from GeoTrust or Thawte, and then
have us install that certificate onto our servers.
If you choose to setup the SSL using our domain name
instead. It will look something like:
https://secure2.securewebexchange.com/your-own-site-name.com
(where your-own-site-name.com is replaced by your
actual hosting domain name).
The advantage of this method is that you do not have
to buy a SSL certificate
in order to make SSL work. That is because you are
using our SSL certificate for:
https://secure2.securewebexchange.com
Instructions For
Setting Up SSL
To setup your SSL, you have to enable the SSL option
inside your hosting control panel.
1. Login to
Account Manager
2. Click on "Hosting Accounts"
3. Click on the "WebSite Manager" button next to
your hosting domain name
to launch your WebSite Manager Control Panel.
4. Inside the top left corner of the WebSite Manager
Control Panel,

6. Click the "Next" button to start the setup
process.
7. You will be asked whether you want to install
either the generic SSL Certificate,
or to use a vanity SSL certificate that requires a
CSR generation.
If you want to get SSL using our domain name, then
you would choose the "generic option."
If you want to get SSL using your own domain name,
then you would need to "generate a CSR"
8. If you choose the "generic SSL Certificate"
method, you have nothing else left to do. You're
done.
You can access your generic SSL by using
following format:
https://secure2.securewebexchange.com/(your-own-site-name.com)
However, if you choose the "CSR Generated
Certificate," you will need to provide valid
information
which will be used to generate the CSR.
You will be given the option to use your SSL
certificate as either:
www.your-own-site-name.com
or as:
your-own-site-name.com
After you get the CSR code. Take the code and
submit it to either GeoTrust or Thawte
in order to get your SSL certificate signed.
Remember to copy and paste the entire code.

CTRL+V to paste

has issued to you.
9. Click the "Next" button to submit the certificate
to us.
We will install the certificate with 24 hours.
10. After your certificate is installed, you can
access your secure content by using:
https://your-own-site-name.com (where
your-own-site-name.com is replaced with your actual
hosting domain name)
If you can not access your secured SSL site,
check to make sure that you have uploaded the
content
into your the "secure" directory folder. The
"secure" directory folder works exactly like your
"public" directory folder. The only difference
is that the secure folder is used to store your SSL
content.
Where to upload secure content:
All secure content that will be used by SSL need to
be uploaded into to the "secure"
directory folder.
